It’s like Aaron Rodgers said, young wealthy men don’t want to live in Louisiana. Now, winning cures everything but we’re a far way from that.

Damn! The dead has risen...we trade Jose and put all our stock into this guy? Let's see if Dumars knows his shite or not. He doesn't show any managing skills so far, but we'll see.

Wtf are you guys talking about? Murray has likely been healthy for weeks if not months, and asked to be traded.. We couldnt find a buyer for him so now its on him to play well enough to improve his trade value going into the offseason

They didn't "pick" Murray over Jose

He tore his Achilles like 13 months ago? I would love to know what sources these guys have to be claiming he’s “been healthy for over a month.” Literally the longest tear to recover from but we got insiders left and right on this board apparently.

Correct. Murray was never leaving and Jose was never staying.

Y'all are finding anything and everything to say other than "we moved on from Jose."

I love GTA and the brand of basketball he brings every play...never mind every night. I hate to see him go as much as anybody but we all (me included) should step back and be real. Jose' is not a front-line player and never will be. He's a solid role player who does have his moments of grandeur and likewise has moments when he is almost unplayable.

On the other hand, Murray was brought in with the idea that he would be the 'straw that stirred the drink' (as bitter as the concoction might be). Through no fault of his own, until now, fate stepped in and consequently he has been denied. I think we have to find out what Dejounte' is all about over the last half of this season, if not with the idea of keeping him, then to establish his true value for an off-season trade.

Too, Poole has to be played to rehabilitate his value (if he has any at all). I do not want to "Davonte Graham" him and attach valuable assets to get rid of him. (To this day I am conflicted about which is worse: the draft day trade for Queen or the McCollum Deal. I currently lean to the Queen fiasco as we did get Bey in the McCollum trade)

Lastly, it's an absolute that Fears has to play.

So, to keep GTA would only obstruct these three vital objectives.

The fact that he hasnt appeared near the team in months, and the day after the trade deadline hes suddenly a full go at practice? No ramp up, no two weeks to assess.. He's just suddenly ready..

We tried to move him but nobody wanted him without assets going with him

Assuming his first game probably comes after All Star Break right?

if it gets poole out the rotation, this is good.

I want to see healthy rotations with 8 guys to see what can happen.

Sucks he suffered a significant injury.

Agreed.

Kinda like the Boogie trade, we’ll never know if it would have worked

Not at all. When Boogie got injured the Pels were playing good basketball and at times Boogie looked better than AD. The potential was pretty unreal. The Pels were like 8-22 with Dejounte and had lost 5 in a row and neither he nor the team looked very good. Not really similar at all other than the injury itself.

For all we know he may have come in town to watch some parades.

Seriously it is probably up to Dumars and Weaver when he returns. Top secret timeline.
