Could potentially pursue a shumpert trade, since his perimeter defense is good and he has a cheap contract. I don't know what we would give up for him though.
For some reason the Knicks think Shumpert is a huge trading piece. They've had him as the centerpiece in proposals for Rondo and Faried.

We were talking about why people hate the guy. Well, that has a lot to do with. If he was likeable in any way we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

Granger beast.
Gordon bust.
Gordon bust.

Shumpert is a pretty good player. He will flourish when he gets out of NY I think.
That said the last thing we need to do is trade a guard for another frickin guard

Luol Deng (14M expires 2014)
Omer Asik (15M expires 2015)
Evan Turner (6.7M expires 2014)
Danny Granger (14M expires 2014)
Asik has a terrible contract, Granger is done, Turner would be nice but I don't see Philly letting him go.
I'd definitely take Deng, but I doubt we could get him without giving an important piece away.

Do you consider Gordon an important piece? With these injuries translating into the Pelicans falling out of the playoff race I'd say it's pretty much a lock he's traded at the deadline. Of course, teams have to actually want him.

I'm a moron because I'm unhappy with my team?
It's called being a fan jackass.
anyway... for any other "fans" out there..

No. It's because you think Granger is good value for Gordon. The only worth Granger has at this point is $15 million worth of cap space coming off the books.

SEE #2
Granger is a beast... Gordon is an average shooter with average potential.
*its all I could find for stats by quarter.

My Troll meter is broken so I can't tell if you're serious.
You just linked stats for Granger from 4 years ago...

Well Gordon averaged 22 ppg in 2010. I guess that's not a "trolling" stat though, right?

Cecil and the Oregon guy have to be the two worst posters of all time. This thread reeks of incompetence.
I post about potential trades all the time, but none of them are for a guy 2 years and 2 KNEE SURGERIES past his prime. EG is 7 years younger, and on the upswing if you hadn't noticed (which you clearly haven't). Granger is on a serious career downswing, he's not Kobe Bryant, he's never won shite in the L, and frankly he'd only be worth it to NOLA at a veteran minimum contract. And this is coming from a guy who has proposed every trade under the sun for Gordon, but be intelligent about it for Christ's sake. GTFO here with that nonsense

this board has an unhealthy obsession with Granger and DJ Augustin

Granger is made of glass. Why the frick would we want that piece of shite?
Posted on 12/7/13 at 10:46 am to Tayday
Some want him cause he is from Louisiana
Posted on 12/7/13 at 10:52 am to NorthshoreTiger76
Yah thats just childish. Are people going to cheer more for him or something because he's from NO?
The fact is he's one of the most injury prone players in the league and on the back end of his career. Not to mention he's expensive and wouldn't help this team win a title.
