Does this take clippers out the CP3 sweepstakes?

You’d think that it would.

Philly makes a lot of sense for him. Tobias Harris to the Wizards in that deal, right?

OK that makes more sense…

Washington wants to tank and doesn’t want long term money, so Brogdon isn’t interesting to them. Still not sure what “draft compensation” the Wiz get out of this tho. Boston has shite. Clippers have 30 this year and otherwise can’t trade a first before 2028.

On one hand I love how Boston continues to reload and find ways to get better, on the other hand, I hate how these shitty teams like the Wizards are giving away free top end talent.

KP has more issues than Sports Illustrated.

Constantly injured and has managed to make himself unwelcome with the Knicks and the Mavs.

Givony shot down that its Paul George for 3; he said thats laughable.

It was laughable to anyone who follows the NBA.

George is not every valuable. He's old and always hurt. He might play 2 more years.

They are going with the OKC strategy, get rid of everything good and take on bad salary for draft picks. Be bad for awhile until you hit on a player

He's an expiring contract that gives them exactly what they need. He gives them much needed rim protection, rebounding, and even better spacing. Theres no commitment involved. That's a win for them.

Considering that the Wizards have been swinging for mediocrity for years, this is long overdue.

I wonder what player they’re shopping? Keldon Johnson?

Im sure future picks, they have a shitload of picks over the next 7 years including 18!!! 2nd rounders

Mavs seem most likely to be willing to trade out from 10 as they want to shed salary. Spurs can use their cap space and take Bertans or Hardaway and send Mavs a future pick and some seconds this year.

It's essentially a sign and trade, those usually don't get you full value.

The Boston Celtics are finalizing a deal to acquire the Washington Wizards’ Kristaps Porzingis, sources tell ESPN. Porzingis is opting into his $36M contract for 2023-2024 and getting his trade to the Celtics.

Washington is completing a three-way deal with Boston and Memphis that will send guard Tyus Jones to the Wizards

The Celtics are trading Marcus Smart to the Grizzlies as part of deal

The Grizzlies are sending 2023 and 2024 first-round picks to the Celtics, sources tell ESPN. Grizzlies are sending No. 25 on Thursday night and 2024 pick via Golden State for Smart.

The Celtics are sending the 35th pick on Thursday to Wizards in the deal, sources tell ESPN.

The Wizards are acquiring Danilo Gallinari and Mike Muscala in the deal too

KP had a player option.

The Wiz could either get something for moving him to his new team or get Jack shite when he walks.
