he evidently can’t shoot a lick but honestly that’s better for him, there won’t be any pressure to do anything but pass and defend. this is a one (max two) year thing. He’ll spend summer league and camp with the lakers (lebron will get to “play” with his son), then to D league where he will play a lot and not score, then a post deadline call up to ride the season out, never getting meaningful minutes, then end of season minutes with lebonk, then it’s over.
Lebron can say he played with his son, bronny will spend a year getting paid to play basketball, the world will keep spinning despite the nauseating coverage
this was the only way he was getting to the league so there you go

Several months ago, people were trying to convince everyone that Bronny was a first round talent.
IIRC, LeBron had a pouting session where he claimed Bronny was a better defender than most of the league, which is going to put an even bigger target on the kid’s back.

If you are an actual diehard Lakers fan and not some cuck that follows LeBron, you would have to be pissed at the front office for handcuffing themselves to these two, right? The Lakers suck arse and need all the help they can get and just used a 2nd round pick to be a guaranteed roster spot for a terrible Bronny. They are so fricked.

quote:it won’t matter. He won’t be in the nba any longer than lebron is. And he won’t be playing any long minutes. Whatever “contract” bronny signs will sync up with lebron, then bronny goes to work for klutch
which is going to put an even bigger target on the kid’s back.

This assumes the Vegas team doesn’t exist by then and LeBron isn’t a principal owner.

Nepotism lol. But no different than bucks keeping giannis brother in team to keep him happy. A 15th roster spot isn't winning or losing a game.

still doesn’t matter. Lebonk won’t be playing for Vegas and neither will bronny and none of that has anything to do with the lakers drafting him for lebron at #55. It’s a non issue…it doesn’t hurt the lakers or bronny and it makes lebron happy and will induce him to stay as long as he can.
It’s fine, just like giannis’ brother is fine. It’s better that he knows and we know and lebron knows he’s not an nba player, takes the pressure off and makes it just about father-son history, which despite my undying hatred for lebron IS kinda cool.

The only that bothers me is I thought I was almost done with the non stop LeBron notifications. Every time the man took a shite it seemed like my phone told me. Now this is just making it worse.

We as Pelicans fans should be in love with this Lakers dysfunction. It makes our draft picks higher and stick it to that quitter and beta AD! It’s a double win for me. I hope they start Bronny next to LeBron!!!

I’m begrudgingly happy for lebron. He made it long enough and well enough to see his son drafted into the NBA to be his teammate. Of course he made his team do it, and no other team was going to sign him because he’s not worth the spot. Let the man have his year with his kid

Just found out why Kyle Filipowski dropped. Teams were scared because of his girlfriend Mormon groomed him. He doesn’t talk to the family anymore and she’s apparently 7 years older than him. She went to prom with him when she graduated masters.

Wow! I just read up on that. It so weird he’s going to Utah of all places!

Yeah people are bitching about nepotism but Woj had a great rant on ESPN about how nepotism is rampant in the NBA. You just don’t notice or complain because most of it happens in front offices, scouting, agencies, etc.
Bronny has already made the Lakers more money than probably any other 55th pick.
Reality is that there’s probably a 95% chance that whoever was drafted at 55 wouldn’t have amounted to shite anyway.
