Lakers fans are so entitled when it comes to trades. They think they can trade Kuzma for Giannis

They are pretty awful… genuinely thinking they can offer Kuz and someone else for Dame or something. Not realising they have no assets or draft capital at all.

We aren’t exempt though, we have countless morons who haven’t got the slightest idea how trades work, what an RFA is, think Zo and Zion can just walk and think we can package Bledsoe and Adams together and land Beal…

I think most of those suggestions are for salary matching with the assumption that our war chest of picks would be used to entice the Wizards.

LeBron will end up wherever Bronny goes in 3 years.

It’s not so much on this forum… it’s the general interwebz and social media. It makes me want to headbutt a wall.

They accomplished what they wanted. They got a ring out of the deal. In a couple of years, buyers remorse will come back to bite em.

I don’t think the Lakers would have won a ring last year without the shortened season and change to the playoffs.

They lucked into it for sure but then it made their free agents cost more. Remember guys they lost 2 games to the Heat. That exact team got swept in the 1st round. They don’t have enough shot creators and. They dont play the ones they have

Yeah a Mickey Mouse cock ring that cost them their souls and arguably damaged their legacies considering how hard both the Lakers and Heat just got cucked by flawed teams in the first round of a real season. Suns were “flawed” because their best player was essentially playing with 1 arm for 5 games of the series. I do actually think they are legit.

They got a title off the trade, no matter what that is a win for them. Everyone said they would never get one from the trade and they did. Trying to make yourself feel good like you won the trade is sad. They won the title and gave away what they almost never use. New Orleans needs to worry about making the playoffs and not if they won a trade lol “hey guys remember that trade we won?” Just pathetic.

nah.
1. in the trophy room it shines bright as all the others.

2. davis got his.
and was acknowledged as key.

in 10 years when Davis is guest on NBA chatter tv show the ring looks great as the other guys rings.

try as you may to cast aspersions it's still the championship. short season Yankees crushed billy Martin's As. it's still AL championship #94 or whatever.

re legacies. the laker mgmt looks like the winner.
pels barely care if hart walks because no range.
ingram wilts under pressure. good but not great.
lonzo still isnt a complete player. not yet dependable outside shot.
rarely takes ball to the hole.
the laker picks are unknown factor.
dont expect top 15 picks.

pels lost the trade so far.

I wouldn’t say the Pels lost the trade. Due to AD and Paul’s illicit tactics, we were basically forced to make a deal with LA. Ingram is good like you said and still has a chance to be great. NAW looks like he can be a player in this league. Hayes arguably has the most potential out of anyone in the league and was probably our best overall defender last year. We still have a lot of picks left over and Bron’s and AD’s bodies appear to be broken down already in 2 short years after the trade.

And maybe some people will respect AD’s title, but a lot of analysts and fans won’t. The bubble title will always have at least a mental asterisk by it for many. No way LA would have won the title without a 5 month break in the middle of the season. Also, if you remember correctly, most teams didn’t even truly want to play due to the social justice movement this summer. So they won a title that basically nobody in the nba was even interested in playing for.

nobody is vast exaggeration.

in 5 years no one will remember how many nba guys obsessed about blm (<4?) vs guys who were scared or got cv19 (lots missed games) vs guys just playing basketball (most).

the ring is discussed like this by pels fans.
no one else thinks about 2020. errybody else is either riding with still alive home team or looking at kispert vs moody vs trade for veterans.

Yea it’s very unlikely. Didn’t AD get hurt right before they cancelled the season? And Lebum looked refreshed after the 4-5 month break. They definitely benefitted the most. It counts in the books I guess, but no one outside of Lakers fans think it’s a legit title.
