I’ve been here for it. I’m not a dedicated Pels Talk poster, but I’ve been here since Chris Paul was here. I’ve been here throughout Crewz time here. The stark 180 opinion on him is the issue. I’ve had the same opinion and been vocal about it from the start. He’s only good for certain things, if you can get past his shitty attitude that is completely undeserved. He isn’t gods gift to Pels Talk. His insider knowledge is extremely modest for someone who acts like he’s in the front office. He’s more knowledgeable about in game strategy and talent, but that comes with the attitude. And it’s things most people would understand with the amount of film study he does

Bc most of our fans have very low basketball IQ. Crewz isn’t wrong about that. But we have a different opinion on how to handle it.
To him, if a question has been answered once or if it’s obvious to a diehard basketball fan, then you need to berate the person that answers the question and make them feel bad about themselves and probably ignore this board forever.
To me, in the same type of scenario, people with more knowledge need to be patient and answer those repeat questions, so eventually we will have a fan base with higher basketball IQ and a larger fan base here at Pels Talk. I see it as our fans are primarily football fans that want to give basketball their interest, so teach them the game. That’s where I fall myself, except I’ve learned a good bit

My point was that your “contribution” actually takes away from basketball talk on this board. It stifles any real conversation. Why would I contribute anything when every post is “what does crewz think?” or “crewz says this, therefore I don’t need to think about it myself”

Dude we get is you hate Crewz....Personally, he gives more information than you on this board...50% of your comments are bashing him. Crewz has an attitude problem and thinks he is smarter than everyone else, but beating a dead horse is just as bad.

Not sure why you're advocating for allowing someone to be an arse hole with no recourse? That person should be called out on it every single time he displayed that behavior by every person who sees him displaying that behavior.
The problem is there may only be 2-3 guys who called him on it, and then as you can see by TigerATL's post earlier, those guys(me in the post I'm referring to) get blamed for killing the thread, and not ya know, the guy who actually killed the thread with his nonsense.
If TigerATL called him on it each time, if you called him on it each time, if everyone who saw it called him on it each time, we would have solved this Crewz being a shitty poster 50% of the time a long time ago.

Isn't it funny that you long for this world of elite posters only and all you want in this Pels message board world is to only interact with other elite guys on your level, but yet you post here all the time where 99.9999999% of posts you won't think are on your level? That alone just reeks of insecurity and you being here to make you feel better about yourself. Now throw in your thing for berating those who you don't think are as smart as you, and there's quite literally no other way to see it other than you post here and act like that to make you feel better about yourself to mask whatever insecurities you have about yourself.
People who are secure with themselves don't ever feel the need to tell others they're not as relevant as themselves, obviously.

And I can understand how that is frustrating. I feel bad for them in some ways.

I say that because I'm pretty confident you wouldn't really be backing shitty posters who never provided anything good and saying we shouldn't call them out either. I could be wrong, but like I said, I know darn well you've called out others for doing the same thing he's done before, so I can only assume you'd be for letting it slide with him because of the content he provides, and I just don't agree with that.

I don’t think I’ve seen one person defend crewz cutting down other posters and belittling them. I’ve implored crewz on several occasions to be better and an actual asset on this board myself, and I tend to value his basketball insight and sources closer to the organization than the public has access to. It’s uncomfortable when he goes off on these tangents like today.
I’ll say this. I think people are looking for any sign right now that this organization isn’t going to just repeat the same mistakes over and over. Right now, crewz has claimed the organization “seems” to at least be moving in a different direction, so that alone will have people very interested in what he has to say.
I’ll also add that crewz’ lack of giving a shite what people’s opinions of him on this board are seemingly validate the opinion that he’s not making shite up out of his arse, as the adulation and attention doesn’t appear to matter to him.

I don't mean that sarcastically, i would legit like to hear the approach to change that behavior...on a message board.
As I said before, and I'm very confident and stand by it, the ONLY way to get that behavior changed is if everyone was doing what I'm doing. Myself and a couple of others, nah that won't do anything. If every poster did it the moment it happened, he would have either stopped acting like a fool or disappeared long ago, not sure how anyone would dispute that.

You can't cut people down and be shocked when they turn around and lash back. Take a breather. Luckily, the majority of people on the board to respect your opinion and sources enough to just let bygones be bygones tomorrow. There's no reason to even feel the need to defend yourself. If I go off, that shite follows me like a stink for months.
