It’s hard to build around someone who only plays 30-40 games a year. It’s frustrating though cause when Zion is on he is who we wanted him to be

He is? He’s been ok tonight, can’t score to save his live when we need baskets and is already deferring to the rookie Queen

Well this isn’t a game he is “on.” I mean when he is playing at his best, but you only get a handful of games like that a year cause he is injured so often

Well we will always have those first 8 minutes of the game lol. I guess it wasn’t Willie’s fault with this teams inability to be competitive in any 3rd quarter ever

JB has said he will be experimenting some to see who works together and who doesn’t.

Another downfall of not giving him training camp and pre season to work this type of stuff out

I want to see them against some of the mid level teams first. I know the Nuggets have Gordon out but I just want to see what they look like against other teams.

The offensive movement looks much better with Borrego. Guys aren’t just planting there feet like they are stuck in concrete

The most noticeable difference and I’d say the effort is better.

Still getting wrecked in 3rd quarters

Willie certainly deserved to go but I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that this was always a bottom tier roster that had zero chance this season regardless of who is coaching.

Jokic has a 28 point triple double already.

Zion has 9 points and 6 rebounds.

Thats also a problem. Zion’s game has eroded thoroughly and he is no longer actually elite.

I don’t think Willie was the complete problem but I do think he was stubborn and not willing to change or adapt. You can only do so much with this roster but he wouldn’t even try anything different. I think Willie is probably a good dude but it was time to go.

He's rusty so I'll give him a pass tonight. Effort was there.
