This is the first time all year I’ve been disappointed with Willies coaching all year. You don’t go small against this team. Going big forces them to use Zach Collins which helps us offensively AND defensively. I love Larry but these minutes without JV need to go to Hernangomez. I said it to my dad before we blew a 10 point lead in the first and Willie didn’t learn and did it again.

Willie Green needs to step in and make sure CJ understands he is 3rd option when BI/ Zion are both on the court. Take as many open shots as you want but let them do the hard work. His first choice should be finding Zion not getting his. And he usually does the exact opposite and runs away from Zion.

theres nothing wrong with cj being aggressive and even being on ball. just not when zion is on the floor. non-zion lineups sure go for it

Exactly if Zion is on the court priority #1 is finding him. He wouldn’t even pass it to Zion 4 straight times on the 3pt line without Zion even being pressured.

I am hoping it is mostly rust but CJ right now the worst points per iso play of any player in the NBA by a huge margin.
Points per ISO play (minimum 2 per game)
1. CJ 0.61 Points per ISO
2. Randle 0.73 Points per ISO
3. Barnes 0.76 PPI
4. J Green 0.78 PPI
5. Rozier 0.79 PPI
6. Giannis 0.8 PPI
The ISO is the weakest part of Giannis' game and yet he still averages almost .2 points more every time he is ISOd
2 other Pels qualify:
Zion is 2nd best in the NBA at 1.23 PPI
Ingram is towards the bottom at 0.86 PPI but worlds better than CJ
Again. I hope this rust comes off soon but man any play where CJ is in ISO instead of Zion is literally costing us .62 points every time.

CJ obviously isn’t back, having a tough game off the break. He’ll be fine in a few games
