I honestly dont understand not feeding JV. Willie says thats what he wanted to do then plays Nance all these minutes. Nance has been killing us every game. Give more minutes to JV and rest to Zeller.

I’m not gonna blame the loss solely on Zion. They made 10 more 3’s than we did and attempted 26 more. We have 3 shooters out
And BI still only attempted 2 shots beyond the arc. We need to trade BI and make way for Trey to start alongside Zion. Trade BI for picks or maybe a backup PG or a 3nD guy or a backup Big and picks.

Omg this is just not the fricking takeaway from this game
There are only 2 real takeaways from this game
1. We DESPERATELY need shooting. Thankfully unlike other rosters that literally don’t have shooting, we have shooting and it’s coming back soon
2. We need to look at our 4th quarter sets, especially for ATO’s., because some of our plays down the stretch were straight up unconscionable

The reason was kessler. Guy has been our kryptonite tonight blocking/impacting alot of our shots.
Zion probably felt he couldnt get a good shot off and i agree he wouldn’t have if he didnt pass it out.
Good save imo, but willy has to account for kessler

If we're healthy and fighting for the 10th seed in April then this team is done as constructed anyways.
The jazz packed the paint and instead of cj 3s we had fricking Dyson 3s. I'm not ready to jump off the boat and say we're a 10 seed level team. Not even close.

Yep. But I’d counter and say that we won’t unlock the potential of this team with BI as a starter. The optimal lineup is probably going to be:
CJ
Trey
Herb
Zion
JV
BI needs to be traded unless he starts taking and making more 3s. Bottom line

Herb has been in foul trouble 4 consecutive games . He’s got to be better in that regard bc having him on the court makes a huge difference for this team bc he plays his tail off and other follow. The first 20 minutes of the gave today is where the game was lost . Effort was poor , ball didn’t move , stagnant in all aspects.
Naji had moments tonight but overall the 2nd unit was poor.

agreed. If we get and stay healthy and are in the play in…Willie is gonna have to go and we have to start shaking up the roster big time

while this is accurate, the more important issue is that we need to TAKE more 3s. we have the same 3pt% as utah this season. the difference is they take way more 3s per game than we do. no team should take 26 less 3s than another team in a single game in the year 2023
