I remember him mentioning it as something he was working on as well.
Agreed though, if he can do that it’s a hell of a wrinkle to add.
Impressive how he has managed to translate his growth to the court so much, certain guys spend their entire careers looking to add one or two new aspects to their game, or improve their efficiency at some aspect just a bit, and Ingram just seems to do it so effortlessly.

Luke Walton started him at point when Lonzo got hurt and he was really good. Combine those skills with his scoring and more focused defense, dudes a stud.
Yeah that was what I was hinting at, he seems to have it in his game and has said he’s still been working on improving his passing/facilitation.
I kind of do think our future is going to be Zion/Ingram with guards that can play off ball at a high level kind of like Denver/Clippers because I think both end up as very good primary/secondary facilitators within another season or two.
Which I think is why Kira’s low-key very good catch and shoot ability coming out of college and off ball movement is pretty important in our future. He seems like he could very much be a 18-7 type dual role guard that can spot up from three or break you down in the half court.

Yeah it's definitely not an easy thing to do and I think it just shows how dedicated he is to his craft.

Oh good. I’m glad I’m not the only one.

I just enjoy this team. I'm watching all of the interviews throughout the week and am just more interested in this team. It's probably because I'm excited about a new coach who is the most competent one that we've had since I've been a fan (Byron Scott and Jeff Bowser years are when I started
). Monty had his moments and I think he's a decent coach but SVG is a whole other level imo.
Add on that we have some really likeable guys who all seem to want to be here. It's so much more fun to watch. Even if we aren't world beaters this year, I think the future is very bright

looking good but our bench is gonna be rough
We have a starter and our 6th man out tonight. We aren't 10 deep, but we played pretty well considering we were out 2 key pieces.

SVG also said he played guys longer on purpose to get them in better shape. So our starters playing heavy minutes doesn't mean that we don't have depth. I think we have a pretty solid bench actually. Is it as good as some of these super teams where vets go there for the minimum to win a championship? No. But we definitely have some players on the bench.

bench definitely not “rough”. not many teams have a JJ Redick, Josh Hart, Melli on their bench. we’re worried about finding a 9th and 10th guy in the rotation? not a bad spot to be in and wouldn’t say that’s “rough”.
we have a lot of depth still, especially if any of the 2nd or 3rd year players develop as seems to be the case (naw)

I'm starting to get excited. That's a young, athletic, and talented team we have here I believe.

Using this thread as a barometer we have close to 90 Pels fans who frequent this board.

I just started frequenting after we finally got rid of Al. I just couldn't deal before.
And 4th seed or bust.
