Agreed. And I don’t think it’s really a hot take. I’m not saying Jrue won’t help the Bucks. And hey, maybe they get a championship in the next few years, but for what this team needs I’ll take Adams/Bledsoe over Jrue for sure.

The Bucks got the better player and made Giannis happy enough to extend. The Pelicans got a lot better as a team because of the trade. Win win situation for both teams.

The Bucks wanted to get rid of Bledsoe because he's repeatedly let them down in the playoffs. But:
1) Our goal right now is just to make the playoffs, and Bledsoe has been a plus player in the regular season, and
2) The playoffs are always a small sample size. It's hard to conclude that someone is good or bad at playoff basketball, because someone can look great one year and bad the next. For example, if you watched Jrue dominate Dame Lillard a couple of years ago, you might have concluded that Lillard isn't a good player in the playoffs.
