The injury debacle buck stops at Benson, Lauscha and Loomis

That's the top of the ladder for the Pels and Saints and both have had a ridiculous unprecedented number of injuries in recent years.
Griff is a used car salesman and sucks, and Nelson is clearly past his prime, but I'm putting the blame higher.
If this was just a Pels issue, that's one thing, but this is the exact type of shite the Saints continue to have also.
There is a fundamental problem with how these two teams train and treat injuries and also how they share information about them.
There are so many examples: Michael Thomas with the toe, Keenan Lewis, Delvin Breaux, Zion, Ingram, Jairus Byrd and on and on.
No two teams could have that much bad luck with injuries and the lack of transparency makes me think there's something they're hiding.
Either that or it's just gross incompetence.

I just don’t think this organization has the leadership and vision to truly do anything special. I hope I’m wrong

The problem, imo, is Gayle. She's in over her head and Lauscha and Loomis are wayyyy too comfortable.
Is there any other GM, President in major sports with as little accountability as those two?
It's like they won a lifetime contract for the 2009 Superbowl.
I mean not only did those dudes hire Dennis Allen, they doubled down and brought him back and reunited him with his loser Raider pals/players.

Loomis and Lauscher are enjoying the no accountability train for massive salaries in the millions while living the high life in the Four Seasons, with the former head coach down the hallway when he visits NOLA.

So, what does Loomis have to do with this?

Kinda funny we keep circling back to this. Ownership has given the front office everything they needed in order to be competitive. I don't know why you guys keep placing the blame on people that has nothing to do with the performance of the team.

Because it stops at the top. They are responsible for who the front office hires and they consistently across two franchises hire shite trainers.

If you want to lose this team keep blaming Ms.Benson. Where do you think this team will go if she sells it? There are no other potential local owners. Any non-local owners that buy it and say they will keep it here are lying.

You may be right but ownership matters. Ask the suns who get a new owner and immediately get KD. I doubt Old man Benson would have been ok with Griff firing 2 coaches and/or the Zion medical update debacle. He would have demanded better. Gayle won’t do that.

Yeah I’m sure Gayle Benson is checking tigerdroppings everyday and making huge business decisions based on that.
People are so dumb when it comes to how sports ownership works and operates.

The incompetence on this injury was so fricking bad.

I agree. All Gaylr cares about is that the Pels keep making money and she’s seen in a good light publicly in New Orleans. She has no interest and could care less about were die hard fans say or think. She also has no interest in pressung the team to make bold moves to make them a winner.

She's doing this city a favor that NOBODY else would do. She deserves respect. Even on TD.
