I think we are all upset and disappointed he wasn’t going to play until he feels like Zion…but things spiraled immensely after the videos of him dunking and etc before the game. It shows he has a complete lack of self awareness or just DGAF.

This dude is a generational type talent…and there’s no reason to think we will really get to witness it turn into actual results. He looked heavier again in those videos too. Just unreal. This city more than any other embraces athletes who embrace it…he could be a hero like Brees…but he’s too immature to see it

If he doesn’t tell the stepdad to go frick himself, then he doesn’t deserve to be in the NBA

I'm going to be so triggered when he has his exit interview with the media in a day or two, flashes that childish smile and say how "badly he wanted to be out there with my brothers" and "You know me, I'm a hooper and I always want to be on the floor."

frick that fat frick.

He won’t be in the league 5 years from now either way. He’s a football player playing basketball…he will only survive if he matures and puts in the work during the off season. This dude DGAF about putting in extra work. He’s cursed in someways…he will always have to work overtime to stay healthy…but I didn’t even think he has bought in 100% to being a Pelican

If this team is content as a building year, cool. Better get 2nd round next year.

On the telecast it was said Zion had not been cleared by the doctors to play. Yet he is out there doing windmill dunks. How many people on earth can do a windmill dunk with good hamstrings?

DGAF is different than immaturity though.
DGAF is an ego issue of a person that does not care about his teammates or the employer paying you hundreds of millions. Destructive at the highest level and TOXIC.

I almost get the feeling that Zion is relieved we lost. That way he doesn't have to face anymore pressure or scrutiny to play basketball this season.

Think that’s where people need to stop.

It’s easy to forecast people, but they actually need to produce on and off the court. This has nothing to do with his recent situation and moreso just overall career as a basketball player thus far HS/College/Pro

Too many people continue to use this type of lingo when he simply does not add up. Let him do it before they continue to put him out there like that. He never works for what he gets, he is always given shite. Imagine if he once had to work for stuff? Times may get tough and he might have to…. Lol yep

Get Luka, and this ceases to be a problem. People think it's a pipe dream, but it's not that far-fetched.

Cuban is a hype man more than anything, and imagine the media circus that he and Zion would create

I think he is just so young and sheltered by his stepfather that it is definitely the lack of self awareness.
