Will:

quote:

Willie Green says he expects Dejounte Murray to play tomorrow night vs Toronto. Murray will probably be on a minutes restriction.

Green also said Herb Jones went thru a non-contact practice today. Brandon Ingram did not participate.

Either Pels staff is being the most conservative staff in the NBA or these guys can’t play one game without getting injured. Something is wrong man. This is not remotely normal in any sense.

Or they’re actively tanking and have given up on the season.

If you are going to tank then trade Zion and Ingram and tank for real .

Just curious and this could be a real BI injury BUT when exactly did BI drop his agency and when did this “new” calf injury that supposedly is day to day pop up? Just wondering if the timelines align in regards to injury pops up after BI lets go of his agent.

The culture of injury with this franchise dates back to Eric Gordon, who disliked playing here so much he decided he'd play when he wanted and got the team to sign off on him playing every other game due to some alleged injury.

That precedent IMHO set the bar for how injuries and playing with or through them were handled here. I thought for a brief time when Willie started that he might actually be able to push us past this, it seemed there was for a brief time a new culture where players wanted to be here and play here.

But that was fleeting. The old culture is back and now seems worse than ever.

Today is a nationally televised game, and the NBA fines significantly if teams play around with sitting players. Expect our cheap tanking team to have most of our guys out on the court for this one.

Not really surprise. Shams said not close but he got on the basketball court recently. We all know he’s not coming back this year.

Yeah Zion is done for the year or after all star break as a 5-10 game teaser at best.

We’ve taken this lap how many times already!
