I know it's the only available way to watch the game, but it's very annoying how they replay every Spurs score and can't see the next play

Very tough offensive start. Defense has been pretty solid. Our shots will start falling eventually. It’s like theirs a lid on the rim. Even NAW is struggling and he’s usually money.

I love the Spurs continuing to show replays during the middle of the Pelicans possession

Yeah, this is reminding me there was a game like this last preseason and it was really frustrating.

Basically, the only way to see the Pelicans possession is to hope the Spurs don't score....And we aren't really doing a good job of that.

One thing NAW is going to need to work on is his tunnel vision.

Melli was the only one hitting shots and even though NAW was able to pull in his defender the following possession, instead of hitting Melli for another wide-open three he tried to throw a wild layup over two defenders.

But if that is what I am critiquing that says a lot about how good NAW already is.

I accidentally recorded the Jazz game in standard definition and I have no idea how we used to watch games like that.

However as bad as standard definition is, this is worse

Agreed. I don’t like the trend that starting to form when it comes to sluggish play early. The shots not going in are one thing, but the passing and ball movement doesn’t look fluid. Obviously that’s something that improves with chemistry over time.

Zion with the air ball three.

...But what I like is that unlike most players he didn't let it get to him, instead, he hustled back and got a steal to make up for it and started a fast break that should have been an alley-oop for him(BI stole it). Love that mentality.

I feel like our starters can play with any other team as far as the starting 5. Where we might have an advantage is our second team.

Anyone who was making the Zion/Blake Griffin comps seriously undervalued Zion's ball handling. Dude has made Derozan look like a fool a couple of times already driving at him from the top of the key. And it's not just using his size to overpower Derozan, he's using hesitation dribbles that Derozan can't handle.
