Interesting, apparently according to Willie he tried to play through it but couldn’t and pulled himself out

Would love to know exactly when it occurred and how it affected Zion from that point on

The fact he pulled himself is interesting. Lets see how many games he misses.

On god bro I need to know

Thankfully if it’s a leg contusion it was likely just some collision which to me makes it unlikely for him to miss extended time

Last year when he had the nasty hip contusion. He was out for over a week.

He got clotheslined by Jordan Clarkson and fell horizontally from like 6 feet in the air

I feel relatively confident in saying nothing that bad happened

Man, last season, Zion got hurt 5 days before I was to take my boys to see him play live against the Mavs.

We're now 10 days away from this seasons game to take them to.

Last season they also rested BI and CJ so it was just really bad

Damn that sucks. I mean if the nasty hip contusion took a week, hopefully he doesn’t miss much time but again who knows. The Mavs games are the last leg of the road trip- my gut feeling he misses the kings and warriors game but joins them and plays against Dallas.

Plus we all know Zion loves visiting Dallas lol

He’s in the team’s social media practice photos. Clearly a good sign

I wouldn't be surprised if it was such a minor injury that they just used it as a reason to explain why they didn't put him back in the game. At that point, they knew the game was a lost cause and didn't want him back in and risk injury.
