He will kill it at the combine and be a top 15 pick IMO. That being said, I’m an LSU fan and don’t want this guy on my team. I just don’t think he’s that interested in football. He’s more Sam Montgomery than Danielle Hunter.

id take him in the 5th round
So would I. Also the 4th, the 3rd, the 2nd, and the 32nd pick in the 1st.
To bad he won't make it there.

First off, it ain’t happening! Second, I’m kind of glad. I think it would be a wasted pick. I like Arden, but he compares favorably to Mingo, and he hasn’t exactly set the world on fire! Plus, Key strikes me as lazy and self-centered and off field issues could be a concern,as well. Bottom line: Not worth a first round pick, imo. 5th round, maybe.

Whatever he had going on in the off season and through the year is a concern. He left the team and came back out of shape and then seemingly disappeared again late in the year.
Maybe it's nothing, maybe it is. His off the field issues would be a concern though.

Have a better shot at Marcus Davenport UTSA , reminds me of Arden

Would pick him in a second. Even if he's just like Aldon Smith who was an absolute terror his first few years in the league and then burned out (literally), I would take that in a heartbeat.

I’d take him late 2nd if interviews went well. I’m not crazy about him.

once it comes out that he was addicted to pain pills in the spring... he will drop

I'm not a fan of players who essentially take a season off to protect their draft stock. Shows no competitive drive. However Clowney did the same so maybe i'm wrong.

His measurables will likely have him going waaay too high. I don’t think he’s the type of guy you trade the farm to move up for either.
If he dropped absolutely
It'd be awesome if he fell into our laps like Lattimore did last year simply because everyone wants to reach on a QB or WR. But I doubt he falls all the way to 32.

I'm a LSU fan and I don't think the Saints should draft him. He went of the reservation last year and never recovered. In other words his head and heart ain't in it.

I remember when we passed on Randy moss because of character issues.
For every Randy Moss, there is a Randy Gregory. To be honest, those who turn out like Moss are few & far between but NFL history has a graveyard of those like Gregory.

I think Arden Key would be a monster if Mike Zimmer were able to draft him and fine tune his skills.

Key will kill some team's draft. The measurables and probably a good showing at the Combine will convince some team to overlook his lack of production; this happens with at least one player every draft. Someone will think "This guy must have gotten terrible coaching in college, there's no other way to explain it. Wait until we get our hands on him!"
I just hope it's not us.
