where's meachem been this season any ways? he has a whopping 4 receptions for 30ish yards..

to me it seems like arrington is a solid route runner who can get open, great size, and tremendous hands. you don't know what he is capable until he gets actual playing time.. regardless if it comes from another guy going down.. which now we may never know..

it is just a bummer having to carry two kickers, but i suppose it works out in the end.

I love the fact that we really are b!tching about cutting the #6th WR on this team who hasn't been active for a game this season. He got cut b/c it's the deepest position on the team and he doesn't play Special Teams, I was shocked he actually made the 53 man roster b/c he doesn't play Special Teams.

I agree it sucks he got cut to add another kicker but NFL games are usually won and lost by kickers b/c the games are usually close.

I wouldn't be shocked one bit if this guy is re-signed to the Saints PS today.

Bottom-line this team needs to get back to being balance offensively.

that's exactly what I'm sayin, brah, this dude catches the ball better Henderson and Meachem, he doesn't drop shite, he just had the misfortune of being on a team with too many receivers. and you got clowns on here doubting his receiving skills.

oh, well someone will get a good WR.

maybe he re-signs, maybe he doesn't, but the point I'm trying to make that people keep over looking is that WR's like RB's is a position you need to be deep at because the injury bug always hits them!

and when people say I'm biching that's for bitches, I point out stuff that's dumb, and it's dumb move because hartley can't get his shite together!

so I guess the great catches he made in the (NFL) albeit preseason doesn't count , right?

Not in the NFL record book and clearly they don't matter much to Sean Payton or Arrington would have played more than 0 seconds in games that count.

he has played in some regular seson games early on, not many , but he has, but you have ask yourself if the kid didn't have anything why did SP keep him on until now?

He has never made the team until this season. He hasn't played in a regular season game.

well if he hasn't, he has made the team I would say because he has been there almost 3 years now, so what is that sayin? whether he was hurt or not. those previous sesons he was with Saints being paid by the Saints!

besides, this whole shite is not about games the man has played in. Some idiot said he didn't have talent and couldn't take Henderson or Meachem's spots and that is a bunch of BS. the man is a flatout WR.

What does it say that Payton and Loomis chose to cut him over all the other players on the active roster? Do you still not trust their personnel decisions?

HUH??? If he was better than those 2 you think he would've been activated in 1 game in his 3 years? He's a PS guy until proven otherwise

I don't care about what you say Lester Earl because you only make these silly comments because of that stupid arse Reggie Bush thread you had up 2 months ago, and people were ripping you a new arse for the stupidity of it!

that's why everytime you see a chance to try to insult me or call yourself frickin with me, you are only makin an arse of yourself to me, this shite has nothing to do with this thread and you know it! have a nice day!

it has nothing to do with me trusting their personnel decisions, besides it's more Payton calling the shots then Loomis.

and to answer your question, it says they cut loose a promising, good young receiver because that is the position they are deepest at right now, and Hartley like I said can't get his shite together!

either your blind as a bat or just dumb, all you had to do is look at the guy in preseason games run his precise routes and catch passes when he played, the potential is there, no doubt about

Alright, I think I'm being duped and you're just being sarcast now. A "good" WR, but he's yet to catch a pass in his career. What does that make Meach and Henderson, GREAT receivers? LOL

quote:

and I guess you got a hardon for Hartley so much that it's worth giving up a potentially good receiver

If AA is "potentially" good WR, then we should NEVER cut anyone ever because they're ALL potentially good players.

quote:

honestly, I get tired of these stupid arguments, the guy wouldn't have made the damn team if he didn't have potential

And if he was a "good" WR, he would have maybe caught a ball in his career.

there is no need to reply, anything you say will be just more foolishness!

I absolutely LOVE when people think they're right and if anyone disagrees, they're "foolish" or "blind" or "dumb". And I love it even more when that person is completely clueless. Good times.
