Well it's more that his arm is not strong enough to hit the deep throws, not that Ginn is outrunning his arm. Not sure Ginn is really even all that fast anymore.

Ginn is fine but he’s old and that just isn’t going to cut it anymore.

Brees used to not have to have elite talent but he does now. I’m still in favor of trading Kamara for a 2 or putting a 2nd round tender on Hill in order to entice a team into biting on him. This team has holes and if the current regime is wanting to win now with Brees then neither Kamara or Hill are really going to help with the way the roster is now. There are a lot of holes.

1st round pick could be a LB and then 2nd round pick could be a WR. 3rd round could be RB or OG depending on if we traded Kamara or someone signed Hill. This FO has done a hell of a job in finding talent and they’ll continue to do so. If they want to stick with Brees then they need to find a way to get into the 2nd round without losing our first this year or our third. Chances are, with our success in the last three drafts, we can hit on at least two or all of those first three choices. Getting an impact LB and a solid WR 2 would take us over the top

Saints defense has been terrible on third down the whole season. Time for a new DC.

They actually got better on 3rd down as the season progressed & were pretty good by the end of the year.

The problem at the end of the year was they started giving up random big plays.

Allen isn't great, but we've had a top 15 defense for the last 3 years. Maybe even higher.

We seriously need Rankins back to his 2018 form. He changes everything. Lattimore not starting out slow & our #2 CB not sucking down the stretch would help out. Really need another LB besides Demario as well.

#2 WR

Peat replacement

We are set at CB if we retain Jenkins. Maybe get some late depth.

RB. Murray is an older back. Kamara...wtf

Another pass rusher.

If we're being honest with how the Saints assess free agency and the draft, they'll have absolute needs and upgrades.

Absolutes
WR
DB/S
LB
QB

Upgrades
DL
TE
OG

SIGN Brees, wouldn't be surprised if we kept Klein, bell. That takes care of 3 Absolutes. Go out and grab a guy like Anderson or green to secure #2wr (yeah. I'm really thinking they go aggressive for wr2), but if not a guy like lazard or Allison.

Depending on wr, I could see us either going big for Henry or hooper, if we go expensive on wr go for a guy like eifert.

Sign onyenata or go for a guy like Mike Daniel (DT). Depending on other moves, maybe target a LG like scherff (who can double as a backup LT).

Now you go into the draft essentially having all starters situated and go bpa.

Being honest, playing with ofc and making reasonable moves (extension for appropriate vets like cook, Davis) we can get to 40mil cap space easily. That's not even restructuring guys like Mike Thomas.

Wish we had Anzalone healthy. Wish he could stay healthy better said, he could still be the best player from that class with health. If we had him either he or Davis covers Rudolph. I think they get that stop both are very athletic in pass coverage.

Absolutely must get that #1 WR.. #2 on this team but don’t look for a compliment find someone hungry enough to want to outcompete Mike himself.

Guard. Peat is terrible he lost that game imo the gameplan was to wreck peat. Need a hog, grimy run blocker with some wheels.

Outside CB with some size.

Punter in the 6th or 7th. We don’t need to be paying a punter 4 million they should start looking for a cheap replacement.

Everything else can be addressed in free agency

Hill is a restricted free agent so the Saints can choose to match any offer a team makes to him which I feel they will do. He is too valuable of an asset because he does so many things well to just let him walk away.

How are you guys able to move on so quickly to discussing draft needs only a day after that absolute heartbreaker? I could barely get out of bed for work this morning. When will it stop hurting?

For real though, I never want another LB from Clemson after the shite show that was/is Stephone anthony

Stephone Anthony if you pay attention is paying dividends in some ways...
