I'm getting so sick of this. What, are you 10? The Saints have one glaring need, and that's PASS RUSH. Cam Jordan is a little better than average, but on our team he looks like JJ Watt. One of Barnett, Tankersly, Reddick, or even Charlton will be available at 11. Stats tell us at least one of those becomes a star. No guarantee we get the right one, but we definitely won't if we do something stupid like draft a satellite back (Mccaffrey) at 11, someone who will play a few downs on each offensive series while our D gives up 40. Payton already said he sees Mccaffrey in the "joker" role, not an every down back. You don't draft that at 11 - that's why Reggie was a disappointment despite his success at that role, and why we dumped him when he still had some value. Hell, I'm OK with picking edge rushers at 11 AND 32, we can save the CB pick for 42. Mccaffrey will be a fun pick for your fantasy football team, he'd be a wasted opportunity for the Saints.

Jordan was top-5 in pressures in 2016. Dude is not a little better than average.

Tankersly is a 2-3rd round corner so idk what you're talking about
Reddick is a LB in our system. Yeah some people here think he will come up and rush the passer on 3rd down. Maybe he will. But more likely he is situational at best. Does not address "EDGE" need.
Barnett and Charlton will be there at 11 and both are reaches at that spot. The Saints should take the best player available within their pool of needs... it won't be either of those two.

What a load of BS
Cam Jordan is one of the best DL in the NFL.

I think he meant as just a pass rusher. I think he's better than a little above average though. I'd say...well above average to a good pass rusher(he isn't an elite pass rusher by any stretch). He's pretty elite against the run though.
Top 3 4-3 DE in the league easily.

I'd take Rivers at #76. Almost every scout thinks he will have a hard time stopping the run at 248 lbs. They like how he can run sideline to sideline, & how he shoots gaps. They just don't think he can physically handle NFL O-Lineman.
If we double dip at DE...he'd be a good option as the 2nd DE that we take. I'd rather draft a bigger & more complete DE as our 1st guy(Barnett at 11. Charlton, Watt, Harris at 32. Lawson, Willis, Basham, Walker at 42).
But if the FO thinks he can be average vs the run, & put up 10 sacks a year...nothing wrong with taking him at 42.

He's had the 4th highest QB pressures seasonal average of any defensive player in the NFL over the last 4 seasons. I know people hate PFF, but they graded him higher as a pass rusher than against the run (he earned elite grades in both though).

If he can do this, there's nothing wrong with taking him at 11.

Exactly. Which is why he will be an absolute steal if we take him at 42. He can always bulk up a bit
