So you would rather:
"WHO is that! WHO is that! WHO is that saying they are going to defeat those Saints! WHO is that!"
It's just a slang novelty, it's not taught in schools for chrissake.

He's actually doing good for himself spaces. He does voice work on two different cartoon series and has his own animated show on Adult Swim.

The Saints and Bengals must make up a small fraternity of NFL teams with a recognizable chant. I've been to several road games, including all inner division opponents, and have never heard a team chant.

That's one of the reasons why I love it. Pretty much at LSU, when a huge portion of the fanbase gets together, the only chant is L-S-U. That's fine, but it's nothing really special. I get goosebumps everytime I hear the Who Dat chant on television, especially near the end of road games that the Saints have locked up (Dallas 2006 comes to mind).
As far as the chant fraternity in the NFL, I think we have
Saints - Who Dat
Bengals - Who Dey
Jets - J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets (It was pretty cool seeing the guy with the firehat lead that cheer in 2001)
Eagles - E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles
Redskins - Hail to the Redskins
There migth be more that I am not aware of.

I look at these as equally unoriginal.

While the Jets one is pretty easy to come up with, you don't often here the teams use their name and spelling in that same way. Also, like I said, in 2001 it was pretty awesome. Somehow all the Jets fans knew where that guy was sitting. After they scored they all found him and waited for the signal.

Cha-Ching wasn't terrible in that it only lasted a season or two and then was gone. It's now more or less a nostalgic reminder of the good days of the Mora regime.
I grew up in Baton Rouge and "tigerbait" to this day just reminds me of camo-wearing drunk rednecks.
Maybe I just don't like chants. I don't know.

Agreed. It's so stupid, especially considering about 54 colleges use the moniker Tigers.

I do give props for coordination. One of my fondest highlights of going to Saint's games is hearing the WhoDat chant going down the tunnell after big victory as a child

Same here. When I am able to make it to games, I only take the ramps now just to bring back the memories.
