Well make a great partner with the London Jaguars as the Paris/Munich/Amsterdam Saints

Why are people so fascinated with brand new stadiums? All the Superdome bathrooms were torn out and replaced, added more concessions, widened concourses, etc. I dont see what the problem is.
Arrowhead and Lambeau are old as shite too. Not exactly affecting those teams’ performances.

We can shite on New Orleans all we want but when it comes to fans for walking distance to the stadium/hotels/bars/entertainment very few can match the superdome location.
If venue matters then Vegas and Nashville have replaced New Orleans in the NFL’s eyes.

This got me thinking of different scenarios. What happens to the ownership when she passes away?

They can have the Pelicans. And, frankly, if tonight's product is going to be any indication, she can sell the Saints to an out-of-market buyer. I watched enough shite Saints football in my lifetime. I don't care to go through that again. I'd rather no team than a shite team.

According to her succession plan, Dennis Laushka will execute the sale of the Saints, but the contract will require them to keep the team in New Orleans. The lease for the Dome ends in 2030, so they will have to renew that or have plans for a new stadium.

Lambeau is unique because of its singular history as the team at the birth of the post-merger NFL. Hell the name of Lombardi is synonymous with being number 1. Most modern NFL teams depend on a large business market to keep them afloat, The Packers are essentially owned like a corporate entity. Their stadium doesn't need to cater to a large business market because Green Bay isn't a corporate Mecca like many of the cities that became targets for modern NFL franchise moves/expansions.
I do agree that there is nothing wrong with the Dome and I hope that Louisiana doesn't cave to the demands when they come. The State has way larger problems than whether or not they have a pro football team.
Unfortunately attending NFL games have become a thing not for the masses like it once was. This is largely due to many seats are sold and held by companies to be used as a tool to grow their business. The average family that would like to take their family to the football game is being priced out of existence. Owners know this and have a vested interest in converting as much real estate into premium seating so they can charge a premium. All modern stadiums are built to maximize this plan.

If Elon Mush had only moved his operation to Louisiana and not Texas.

If the lease is not extended in the next couple of years then maybe start to worry.

Were you around for the Mecom ownership days?
So far it’s a wash with Gayle relative to the Mecom days. Mecom sucked but he kept trying until the end to bring in the right group and hired Bum and Hank Stram.
Gayle is soft and willing to let the arsonists play fire fighter.
