Lauscha, the President of both the Saints and Pelicans, isn't firing his de facto co-owner in Loomis.
Some pro-sports owners are far too meddlesome in the day-to-day operations, and hurt the franchise because of it. The Saints/Pelicans are just the opposite. They have an owner who, frankly, just wants to be an owner in name only. Gayle leaves the operation to Lauscha and Loomis. I suspect if she could sell the Saints tomorrow to someone who guaranteed they would remain in New Orleans she would do so.

Looks like the Pels are hiring Dumars for the role, so be careful what you wish for, it could be a lot worse than Loomis.

Ehhhh, Gayle is the reason DA is gone and that’s even with Loomis wanting him to stay
