The number of times I watched him overpursue or be out of position last year is enough for me to say let him be somebody else's problem. You can have all the athletic ability in the world, but if you don't have the gray matter then nothing else matters.

If healthy he CAN be a better pro than college player.. he reminds me of Bonito or whatever his name is for the broncos their star rusher he’s a LB.

Not in play style but the fact that their skills can be utilized in the pros and he can be better.

I would take him in the middle rounds.
He is a tremendous athlete, but because of his size, he has no natural position. If he plays on the line they will run right at him, and pass coverage is not his forte. He can chase the quarterback though.

How many times will we have to see a player get by him and then he quits chasing even though he’s faster? Takes every other play off

The Browns took Jeremih Owusu-Koramoah 2.52 in the 2021 draft. JOK will likely have to retire due to neck injury. I wouldnt be surprised if they added Perkins in the 2nd or 3rd

That guy actually had linebacker skills though.

He is the size of a safety, but without the coverage skills. He is undersized for a LB. Might make a great special teams player.

The Nickle LB was a thing, but they're starting to vanish in the NFL. Teams are starting to shift back to running the football. His numbers and speed look like a productive college player, but we all watched the games. Who knows what might happen in the NFL though? He had a nice pro day ran well, weighed over 220, and jumped well.

We are talking about a 4th rd pick. Almost every single player in the mid to later rounds are athletic players that didn't fully put it together. If they did then they'd be a 1st or 2nd rd pick. His abilities and positive impact are what teams look at and there's alot of possibilities with his size/ athleticism.

Tweener, so I would pass. Great athlete though. Some team will take a shot at developing him, just hope it isn’t the Saints.

I think in the right system perk would excel. But he’s not a LB. You almost need a system where he’s almost a box safety.

If the right team/system drafts him he can be a real asset.
