Didn't say it was the right answer but an intelligent reply.

Darren Sproles is cutting into Lance Moore's touches. Jimmy Graham as well, to an extent.

Doesn't mean he is declining. But his importance is diminished with these 2 guys emerging, which kind of sucks given the money we just paid him. Its not his fault.

Exactly. He only played 27 snaps against the colts. It was the fewest among all receivers.

To add to what you are saying we aren't running 3 WR sets a lot anymore so that hurts his snaps as well.

Not seeing what you are seeing. When given the chance Pierre is very productive. Moore isn't his usual self right now, but damn, its only been a few games

I don't think anyone realized just how good and productive Sproles would be. SP deserves credit for quickly recognizing this and increasing his role in the offense, regardless of who we have and how much they're paid. Brees also seems to look for Jimmy more (and rightfully so) so that's having some effect on ball distribution as well.

Sproles' and Graham's development were hoped for but in no way could be counted on during the off season. Therefore we had to pay Lance (Drews safety net) in order to keep him. Now we are stacked with weapons on offense and that is a good place to be. If we can afford to keep them all, we will, IMHO. We will however likely trade someone for some defensive help at LB or Safety, IMHO.

They are both just as good and valuable, we just have more mouths to feed.

Maybe CSP should use these guys more and ease up on DS and JG or maybe he is saving them for the end of the year.

Moore and Pierre are as effective as ever. When will people learn, New Orleans spreads the ball around.

That suggestion about having a minimum amount of posts to be able to start threads is looking better and better with each of these tards that pop up.

Why would he ease up on Sproles and Graham when everytime they touch the ball something good happens. And it isn't like Payton is the one throwing the ball so much to Graham. That's Drew.

pierre is averaging 4.4 ypc. he needs to get the ball more. this is an incline from last year. lance was hurt in the beginning of the season and as always the saints work a player who was just injured in slowly.

I thought these threads were only for after losses Even a twofer. No worries about either for me.

Lance is in the NFL Survivor contest still- not one drop yet this year.

Saints players I would be watching for signs of aging-

Shaun Rogers, a disappointment so far

John Gilmore, there are better and younger blocking TEs on the street IMO

Shanlee, has always been ragged on but this year does look like a step change down

Vilma, one of my favorite Saints but since he isn't that big, when age hits it might be more pronounced

Devery, earned his spot with legs, still holding up okay but will be 30 next year

Will Smith, looking back to form this year, bigger issue is contract escalates to $7mil next year at 31, $9mil at 32
