I think people are undervaluing an Olave trade

Fans tend to grossly over or under rate their own players. T Hill and Olave are textbook examples for this fan base

Olave is a talented WR and only 25, he would have excellent trade value especially to a contending team that needs WR help down the stretch, his highest value is probably now ca the off season.

they probably shouldn't trade guys like Olave until the offseason

You can hire a dude off the street to be invisible and drop passes.

I don’t think we get much for him. A 4th if we’re lucky? Maybe he balls out for another team. But he has been very underwhelming here.

The number of concussions that he's already had will probably scare off some teams. Obviously it won't scare off everyone

IMO a small market team like us cant trade AK and Demario if they explicitly say they don't want to be traded (at least not right now, when we are not a contending franchise that players are itching to play for).

We have to be mindful of our reputation in modern day NFL and that means treating legacy players with respect and honouring their requests to remain in black & khaki.

The examples that Duncan gives aren't relevant to Demario and AK41 because they're both future Saints HOFers and they both still contribute.

Pretty sure that Olave is cool with being traded, so by all means try to get a 3rd-ish for him if it works out.

Any contender that has a good #1 would be stupid not to trade for Olave. He would absolutely feast as the #2 with a good QB.

Bills could be calling about Olave soon.

I was impressed with the offense, despite the dropped passes and the fumble. However, my concern lies with our defense, which is aging. The pass rushers were effectively neutralized by a rookie, Will Campbell. It's time to move on from Davis, Cam, and other players who no longer have it. We need to acquire a dominant, game-changing pass rusher.

No they didn't. Signing to high priced safeties and Juwan Johnson to ten million a year is not blowing it up!

You’re not going to be a contending team if you keep old expensive players. Both could help a contender vs playing it out on 3-4 win team
