he wasnt nearly in the same league as Owens, Ocho Cinco, Moss etc...

as far as diva-persona goes...I believe he was. He just didn't receive the type of attention as the Owen's and Moss' b/c he played for the Saints.

lets go to the check list:

1.Ridiculous endzone dance
2.Gave the 1st down gesture on one knee when he moved the chains
3.Was always vocal and uncensored when addressing the media
4.Nickname: Hollywood
5.The cell phone incident during the Giants game.
6.Over the top facepaint. (his trademark upside down triangles)

I used to love Horn for doing all of these shinanigans. Horn was as big of a WR diva as he could be...especially since he was on losing teams and a small market.

off topic here, but I sure do miss seeing his twitch where he would constantly adjust his pads by the collar.

If the Falcons had just won the SB, he'd be proclaiming his love for that organization 24/7

How could he? He sucked with the Chiefs and the Falcons. Only time was any good was here.

I'm not the biggest Joe Horn fan in the world, but his production is undeniable as a Saint, and he should retire as a Saint. It's only right, considering his best years were here.

When people think of Joe Horn (when they recognize that name), they think of the Saints. So it makes sense.

I'm certainly not a Joe Horn fan in the slightest, but no one should question his effort he gave for the Saints. Top notch.

Greatest WR and maybe one of the best offensive players in Saints hstory in the past. He was marvelous. I would welcome it.

Screw him, he is not loved here at all because he left and went to ATLANTA. Our hugest rival and this MF goes there and tries to beat us twice a year?

He is dirty and he had a choice where to play and he chose to play in our division!!

He is dead to me

yeah, it was a dick move, but damn dude. He gave a lot to this organization. He was an older receiver trying to get paid one last time...he had been through a lot with the Saints, and Payton didn't want him around anymore. So he went to Atlanta and got paid great money, then got hurt again and became irrelevant in the NFC South...so fricking what.

Mortan Anderson and Ricky Jackson both left for rival teams and nobody is crusifying them.

Joe turned on the team and kicked us when we were down. Yes he was a great player, but that was a deep scar.

i just remember the SA comments. That's what killed it for me, even if it was in the heat of the moment.

we were coming off of our first ever NFCCG, we weren't exactly "down" when he left for Atlanta.

Payton showed him the door, and it proved to be a smart decision b/c he was clearly on the decline.
