He had absolutely no leverage to get that deal. What a shite deal on our part. Not a team in the NFL that would have given him more than 10mil

eventually people will learn to trust our FO when it comes to the numbers

When everybody knows it's all or nothing this season they've got leverage.

Way too high.

Saints fans. We should pay every player in the ten to twenty range of salaries no matter their performance or we won't have a team.

Fast forward to next year's free agency. I don't understand how they keep being able to sigh players.

Forever and ever till the end of football

Can't we create a pretty sizeable amount of space next year with restructures? I think I saw Underhill mention that

I mean, I think anyone with a brain realizes Kamara is THE runningback for Sean Payton’s offense. Probably a slight overpay, but the future at QB post-Drew will likely be significantly less than the current $35-$40M market for QB contracts. Mine as well keep the continuity and playmakers around whoever takes the reigns. Ram should be top priority now at this point..

He’ll get injured tomorrow. Way to high for a rb, who was always injured last year.

i hope so because they're going to have to, i think i saw a tweet or something stating they were like 75 mil over the cap for next year

but in 2022 the liabilities go from 250mil to like 135 so they'll be in good shape

That’s the definition of being a fan.

I have no idea why so many on a fans sports board would complain about fans voicing their opinion.

My opinion is we overpaid, but if we get to the SuperBowl it’s worth it.

Also it’s not my money and I don’t care, but the more you overpay a player the less you have for another player.

It’s not the $, it’s the % of the cap

This contract is going to put the Saints in a bind after this season. I guess it’s worth it if they win the SB this year

I’m not complaining about fans voicing their opinions. It is entertaining as I said. If it upset me I just wouldn’t read this board
