Would a 6 or 7 be a good trade to take the risk? Maybe he stays healthy..

interesting. but whatever mickey will do is going to be bad and we shouldn't have done it cause we can't do it even if we did do it cause of a can that's now down the road.

He only has 5 mil in guarantees left on his contract. Throw them a 7th for their troubles and bring him in.

If he's healthy, he is instantly WR1 for the Saints. I love Olave, but he doesn't have the "I'm always open skillset" of Mike Thomas or Chase or Jefferson.

Even if Kupp has degraded to WR2 level, he would still draw attention his way and open up some throws to Olave.

Unfortunately, we probably don't have the money to pay him.

If olave weren't a walking concussion, I wouldn't even think about it. He is though, so whatever... I'd take a shot if the rams would

Olave is easily a top 15-20 WR with Stafford. Kupp has more injury problems than anyone

To be fair, this is the type of trade where Mickey will give up a 4th for Kupp and a 5th, instead of just making it a 6th straight up

If he's released, why would you give up a draft pick?

That $5 million is a roster bonus. He will get released or traded before that is paid. I would not take that on via trade. He also has a $14 million salary that any team would want reworked. I would guess he gets released and ends up with a one year prove it deal somewhere.

I hate to say this , but when Olave was drafted , I thought he had a very slight build for an NFL receiver . I shut my mouth , because I thought the “ experts “ knew better . Turns out I was right !!

Same here.

I was one of the few on here to point that out and got called an idiot.

Let me get this straight. You wanna trade a guy we gave up an entire draft worth of picks for a receiver that’s about to get cut?

I said in the draft thread, only receiver worth moving up for was Garett Wilson.

Obviously you have to factor in health now, but olave outperformed Wilson in every category their first 2 seasons. Wilson stayed healthy last season though, and that isn't a small deal.
