it's not like he's not "upgradeable"
While there are better SS out there, he plays well with Jenkins in the game. SS is much further down the list of needs of this team. DE/LB 1a & 1b, we are paper thin at DT, we have 8 great RB's that can't stay healthy, and we could also use another Tackle. Any of those would be a better selection with our #1, or 2nd rounder for that matter, than SS IMO.

this is cute when its posted in every draft thread by a 19 year old USL kid who was starting threads saying Nebraska had a better program than LSU last year because their fans didn't pick on you as much as LSU fans did.
Butt hurt?
Can't sellout games like Nebraska?
or even stay passed halftime?

Just need a pretty average running back that most importantly:
-DOESN'T GET INJURED.-

Defensive End:
*1. Da’Quan Bowers, Clemson
2. Adrian Clayborn, Iowa
3. Aldon Smith, Missouri
4. Ryan Kerrigan, Purdue
*T-5. J.J. Watt, Wisconsin
*T-5. Robert Quinn, North Carolina
Deep year for DE's...Robert Quinn and Watt are both studs and according to Mayock there's 4 guys better than them

I would like us to go after Powe for DT in the 3rd or 4th round.
I also think it would be great if we could land Michael Bush in FA.
Maybe we could get Love or Barksdale in the 3rd as an OT.
Use the first two rounds to pick up a DE and LB.

quote:I'm starting to take a shine to Watt. Dude's got a great motor and he's had to fight his way off of Wisconsin's scout team. Most boards have him as a second round pick I believe but if there's a run on DE's you never know. I don't think the FO would reach for him.

JJ Watt in the first
Phil Taylor in the second
Bruce Carter at first 3rd rounder
Kelvin Sheppard for the second one
Or possibly Marcus Gilbert for the second 3rd rounder
I would love for this to happen.
Plausible too.
We could put a 1st round Tender on Nicks. I love him, but he'll demand $$$$$ similar to Evans. If we could get a 1st for him, and add a dominant OT with that first.

i don't care what people say RB is our biggest need. it keeps our offense balanced and lethal.
next is clearly SS then DT then LB then FS.

I rate him pretty good, he's not afraid to adjust his rankings strongly either by what he sees.
Mayock is very good and is the main reason I watch the draft on NFL network and not ESPN.

has usl cajun always been this stupid? maybe i just havent paid enough attention, but god damn, he has made a gigantic push of the retard ranks in the past month or so.
he argued until he was the blue in the face that ridley is slower than shite because LSU ran a toss dive with him all the time. apparently he's the only one with the amount of football knowledge to make that connection
