remember the beginning of last year? our offense looked horrible b/c teams just sat back in the cover 2 knowing brees didn't have a big arm and that we weren't going to have a deep threat

Yeah Meachem looked good against a bunch of guys who won't be in the NFL next week. He also looked good in week one of preseason last year and we all saw where that got him.
ETA: He still sucks until he can prove he can play against the big boys.

I still say like I've said before, by the time preseason is over Arrington will have outplayed Meachem and gains more regular season playing time. Again I agree with the earlier post that none of the defenders that Meachem beat for that TD will be in the NFL much longer.

While I agree Arrington looks good at times, you must not follow the team well to think that he will pass up meachem this year and be starting after the injury he just had.
