It could be something like what I have. Antiphospholipid syndrome, an autoimmune disorder where you develop vlots for no reason. Mine was only discovered because I had a massive stroke and my hematologist decided to test for it. Hopefully it isn't, as I am on blood thinners for the rest of my life.

Wish Olave all the best but at this point I’d be planning WR at pick # 8. I hope he puts his health first if it comes to that.
