Not a doctor but many people in the place are on some kind of blood thinner and I’ve done a bit of wound care. Generally in my experience the thin elderly skin gets beaten to hell on eliquis, xarelto, etc.

But for it to just erupt into an open wound would require significant pressure like a significantly raised hematoma or something else to be going on.

Even if your run of the mill bruise takes a long time to reabsorb they tend to not just become wounds.

If it continues to expand and doesn’t reabsorb it may not be a bruise as much as a hematoma that continues to get irritated/bleed which you’d want to be checked out.

Not sure if that helps.

For a one year rental

Why would he be a one year rental? If he leaves the cowboys, they’ll get a 3rd round comp pick back. So they didn’t lose much other than getting a year of all pro play.

We weren’t a team that wanted Pickens. Nor should we have been. I wouldn’t want that dude on this team being paid the vet minimum. He’s cancer everywhere he goes. He’s a head case. The saints made the right play by not trading Olave. To think he’s gonna get some massive deal without some safety net at this point is asinine.

So you wanted the Carr led cash strapped going no where Saints to out bid Jerry Jones for him. And him being a FA today.
Wow

He's a really good player, but you're just being hyperbolic.

top 6 WRs in the NFL

1. Puka
2. Davante
3. Lamb
4. Amon-Ra
5. JJets
6. Jamar

Here's the next tier, tell me who's he's better than:
JSN, Malik Nabors, Drake London (maybe), Nico Collins, (old) Mike Evans

Edit: this does not mean that in a week free agent class, you don't bite the bullet and sign him to a big contract. I think he has to be willing to sign a contract that protects the team in the event of a career ending injury

Hell no! Excellent player, terrible teammate. Kellen is trying to build culture here, so maybe you can sign a player like this after he develops a winning culture

The clot can be "Provoked" from long periods of inactivity, like sitting on a plane for hours and not moving/stretching. Could also be injury related.

It could also be from a clotting disorder, but I've got to imagine that would have been caught a very long time ago on a physical.

Not talking about salary. I’m talking about draft capital. Figuring our team was viewed as the worse in the league before the season, our third held much greater value than Dallas. It wasn’t about money to get him.

Now it’s about money since he’s a free agent. But we still could control him with the franchise tag.

You wanted the rebuilding Saints to spend a high 3rd round pick on a one year rental for an extremely expensive receiver

You also in the same breath wanted to “bottom out” and “tank” the season with said wasted 3rd round pick

First year he’s had a decent qb and he had better numbers this year than half those receivers including Ceedee

He's not a free agent.

Cowboys have till March or whatever deadline. Then he WOULD become a FA if not franchised and cost the cowboys 28 million.

I said if we were giving up a high 4th for a 28 year old receiver, I’d rather give up one round sooner for a younger receiver that has # 1 potential. I’ll go bump what I quoted if u like.

Extremely expensive? You do realize we paid more to cooks this year than what we woulda paid to Pickens….

Is about talent acquisition on a team that had none. You’d rather pay two first round picks for a number one like Chase or buy low and get similar production with a # 3 pick. That was what I was saying.

So he’s not a free agent, but his contract finished for the 2025 season? He’s a free agent. Even if he’s franchised, guess what, he can still sign with any team. So yes he’s a free agent. Seriously doubt the cowboys use an exclusive right free agent tag.

He’s not a free agent despite your lack of yapping. He is not free until a certain date so long as he is not franchised.
