Oh I don’t disagree and think he’s a solid 2 in the lineup and he did have a concussion in college.
Most of these hits were pretty significant. I think the Carolina one the defender got fined.
That said, when Carr retired he changed his mind about retirement.
I don’t think he needs to be paid #1 money.

He ranked 18th, 17th, and 8th in his 3 healthy seasons. He is going to be paid number 1 receiver money. There is no talking around it.
He is not going to be paid tippy top receiver money though, but he will be top 5 just because that's what happens when fringe top 10 receivers come up on their contract. Even if we don't pay him, someone will. If you want to argue it shouldn't be us paying him that's one thing. To argue he doesn't need to be paid number 1 receiver money is ignoring the facts.

While technically correct
I know. And it’s why I’m correct. He is still free to sign with any team. And it’s not one first, but two.
And I covered how often the exclusive free agent tag was made when he said the cowboys might still use it on him and I offered a ban bet if they would. I named the 4 or 5 players it’s been used on. Of course he didn’t take me up on my offer…

not as great with TDs until this season. If you watch him, he does not do well with contested catches either.
we will see. Just don't see him getting this type of contract from us

Hammer meet nail. His availability is what worries me. Scared of a michael Thomas 2.0 situation. Of course his availability and productivity were fantastic in a contract year . Would love to keep him and shough together but idk where you draw the line in the sand on the $$$

Maybe something like 4 year 100 million with yearly incentives for the injury concerns that could push it near 30. Then there's that fun guaranteed part lol

Yeah I’d be such a shitty gm. I could never fork out that kinda dough on one player. I’d have a boring arse team with some absolute units along both lines. lol

It was reported earlier this month that the Dallas Cowboys would be placing the franchise tag on wide receiver George Pickens , and Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones confirmed those plans.
"We want Pickens here, we think the world of him. We want him here, love him. And I think he wants to be here, so all that's a plus," Jones said, per The Athletic.
