Rashad Jennings for a #5 WR then

Hey. Our #5 may be pretty good (or at tleast he may appear so in our system without QB).

According to NFL Network's Jason La Canfora, "there is some potential" for the Ravens to trade Willis McGahee before the season.
La Canfora mentions New Orleans as a possible landing spot. The Saints are perhaps the league's deepest team at cornerback, and the Ravens are the shallowest. A trade seems unlikely at this time, but it's interesting to note that both McGahee and Le'Ron McClain played extensively in Thursday's preseason opener. It's possible (though far from certain) that McGahee was being showcased en route to 37 yards on five touches while the Ravens were seeing what McClain has as a potential No. 2 back on his four carries. We should never pay a lot for a running back with our type of system. Look at the Colts, any RB looks good when you have a great QB slinging the ball around in that open set offense.

we should put our money in the O-line to protect our top investment.

The Redskins are stacked at Running Back and will have to cut a decent running back.

Gay was bad last year but he's been a solid player for us and has supposedly looked good in camp.

When has he ever been a solid player for us? He sucked last year; and the only reason we didn't notice him sucking as much in '08 is because Jason David was the other corner.

I love LSU as much as anyone and want their players to do well in the NFL, especially when they play for the Saints. But he has been horrible for us. Actually, I take that back. He's a decent tackler. Probably because he gets a lot of practice tackling the receiver who just caught a pass on him. Don't be surprised if he gets cut this year.

and we are one injury away from being pretty average.

we could go from Porter and Greer starting to having a rookie or Randall Gay as a our starter. And if we trade Gay, that means some no name moves in at CB, esp if Sharper doesnt get healthy.

I guess the coaches will take a hard look at Robinson's development. Gay (i think) would be a pretty expensive #4 CB again so I think they may go the cheap route with some of the youth in the backfield. Also guys that can be a little more involved in ST as well.
