Poor Will Smith made that one play, but otherwise he just looks slow. Way too slow to play linebacker. Tate just ran around him on that last play.

It's sickening to see multiple receivers on each pass play running wide open across the middle. And they are getting open early, it's not like Schaub is scrambling around buying time. Our Safeties and Linebackers are so horrid in pass coverage, and right now our Corners are giving up so much cushion.
While our Linebackers are getting obliterated in the running game. This is just a zero performance from the defense this quarter.
About as bad of a first quarter as you can get. Not protecting Brees well, and the Defense just looking flat out bad in every facet.

We've never been good defending these guys. Even when we beat them, it was a shoot out.
