That said, Saints can't catch a break with a pass rusher in the draft.

They passed on some highly regarded ones at 11.

Yeah, not the ideal pick, but with Foster gone he's probably BPA. Can still address edge in round 2 and WR in round 3.

Since Foster is gone, I hope we get Beckwith tomorrow.

That pisses me off, but knew it was happening when they traded up. I'd rather get Zach Cunningham.

Too many guys too bunched up on D to pass on BPA there.

42 is 10 picks later with a chance to trade up if needed.

I believe this officially nixes Mixon if he wasn't before.

We got stuck in the trick bag on rushers. Taking a rusher at this pick would have been a hell of a reach. I wish Watt would have fell but this guy was not the reach any of the edge guys left would have been. The FSU guy will be there at 42 or possibly Cunningham.

And they took potentially the best cb in the draft.

Don't think anyone saw that coming. Well, Wisconsin OL usually are pretty good. Maybe we have a shot of getting Jordan Willis or Melifonwu at 42.

There is zero difference between the pass rushers here and at 42

We pick again in like 10 picks. That was excellent value.

Ram is a very solid talent, but mentally is a big risk.

It isn't really known how much he cares for the sport, and it wouldn't shock me one bit if he quits after a couple of years.

That said, I think this pick pretty much kills any shot at picking an offensive player at 42.

In the end, I know Peat is a starter at guard where he is average at best, but it was truly a wasted pick.

Also, we don't know if they still have faith that Anthony may have it at MLB or OLB. Maybe Vitt was his issue and the new defensive coaches can make him better.

Had to with Lattimore there. Barnett was going to be it had Lattimore not fallen to us.
