He likes to party a lot. Not that there is anything wrong with that. But I would not be surprised if there was more than just that one meeting missed.
Lucky for him and the Dolphins that there's nothing to do in Miami.

i just cant see his stock being high enough to garner something worthwhile in return. He's more valuable to us than he is to anyone else
If the Saints aren't going to retain him long term (which they probably weren't), it is clear they are going with the get something for him now rather than nothing for him when he walks.

So fricking stupid. Unless he was a locker room disturbance. I seriously am questioning the mental competence of my Payton and loomis right now

This is the only reason, besides getting a high return, that there could be for trading him. If we're "dumping" him (4th round or less), then I will have lost faith in our plan this offseason. Also:

Mike Clay ?@MikeClayNFL 1m1 minute ago Stills' career 82% catch% on balls thrown to him behind LOS + 0-20 yd range is best in the NFL since at least 2007 #Dolphins

I'd be all for it, but we still need help on the outside.

If this happens we have to make a play for Crabtree or Bowe in FA. There's no way you can expect to compete with Toon, Cooks, Colston and abunch of rookie receivers. Even if they are studs. They are still rookies.

This sucks, but this has to be because of his character.

This I don't get...what are they getting?
Posted on 3/13/15 at 11:40 am to Lester Earl
Something involving Clay would be sweet

What if it is for Charles Clay since they signed Jordan Cameron?
Would fap.

Is it weird I'm more broken up about losing Stills than Graham?
There has to be something off the field. Our WR's would be Cooks, Colston, and Toon.

If its like a 3rd round pick...ok, makes sense.
I don't think it does make sense. If he is "super productive and cheap", chances of replacing that with a 3rd round pick are slim.
I'm scratching my head on this one. Having Cooks, Stills, Toon in the stable made me feel somewhat OK with trading away Graham. Stable is getting thin now though, if this is true.

The response would be he is more valuable now then he will be when another team can argue we will wait until after the season and sign him. NFL front offices appear to be much more shrewd than NBA front offices.

K so now we have cooks. Colston. We need two more WRS. AND NO I'm not counting toon.
Looks like its Andy Tanner time

I think people are underestimating the range of what the pick will be. His contract definitely adds value. Teams are going to be very lucky to find a Stills caliber player in the 3rd round or later, and he's only making around $1.2m total over the next two seasons. I'd be shocked if we don't get at least a 3rd, and I think we could pull off a Stills + 5th for their second.

So far I have been on board with the moves. This one is going to need some explanation for me to agree with it.
