I’m not sure we have seen enough about any of these guys to feel comfortably taking them number 1 overall

But that was said last year about some of the guys last year. We will have more answers in November about who the top guy is. If Sellers improves his passing over the course of the season, he’ll probably get the nod over Nuss

That’s a bad take. He’s only 20 years old and isn’t a bad passer. He’s not consistent yet, but he’s very talented. He has better touch than Rattler already.

He needs some time like they took with Lamar, but I honestly think he could be a superstar.

Agreed. He’s not a Milroe. A lot of scouts have him pegged as like a Josh Allen/Daunte Culpepper type (before he got fat and slow)

If they were patient with him like the Ravens were with Lamar and Bills were with Allen, and not impatient like the Colts were with Richardson, it could pay off big time.

Don’t get me wrong, I like Nuss a lot, but idk if he’s a guy that could be a top 5 QB in the league and carry your team. A good QB? A Baker Mayfield type? Absolutely. But if you’re picking 1 I’d rather take the chance on a Josh Allen than a Baker Mayfield. And before the idiots come out of the woodwork, JA wasn’t a polished passer AT ALL coming out of college

He’s actually not a bad passer at all. He’s just not a developed passer because he’s only asked to make 1-2 reads max. He needs to work on that but that’s not something that’s asked of him because of SC’s system. He can, however, work on moving in the pocket and his short/intermediate accuracy. Those are his bigger issues.

Lol.
You know if we hit on Shug or the Rat
We would be better to trade out for a butt load of high picks.

He would already have plenty experience playing behind a makeshift offensive line.

Sellers is out there throwing darts and dropping the long ball in buckets. Looks like he’s getting more consistent. I really think he will be a good one if he can stay healthy.

Sellers also taking some bad sacks when his read isn’t there.

Sam Leavitt making good reads and throwing from different platforms. Lot of short throws though with the defense taking away the deep plays.

I actually think he will be a better NFL QB than he is a college QB. He has a strong enough arm, can throw off platform, and has shown better decision making this year.

I think he’s in the wrong offense at LSU. He’s running RPO and has no running game. I don’t think he the next Burrow or Stafford, but he needs to be in a system that runs the ball and uses play action. He can be as good as Sam Darnold, Brock Purdy, Kirk Cousins, etc.
