Exactly. We have maybe a 40% chance to win tomorrow. If Atlanta loses I consider this season a success even if we lose tomorrow. Atlanta wins and we lose I will feel sick about it. We are a better team than they are, yet they have a much better chance to make it further. Saints win tomorrow I am confident they can beat Eagles pretty bad if it comes to that. Play Falcons I think we win, but it’s around 60-65% chance

The Saints lost their last 3 games in '09 including one to a pretty bad Bucs team if memory serves.

So you think we would have a better chance beating Philly on the road, who theoretically would be fresh off a home game where they beat the team you’re scared of
Rooting for philly is equal to hoping the Saints lose a regular season game at the end of the season that would cost them a home field playoff game.
The opponent does not matter, you take the home game every time. Y’all think the players want to go on the road? frick no. Get your head out ya asses

They also didn't need to win those last 3 games that year as they had already locked up the division.
They thought (until the final 47 seconds of the game) that they needed to win that Tampa game and couldn't do it despite having all the starters in.

I hope that both of these teams suck today and we play the team that gets lucky enough to win this game . We will play at the top of our game no matter what.

Thanks, I couldn't remember which week they played the Bucs and what starters played and what was on the line. That was before sobriety for me.
