This is part of the reason why the Democrats like Pelosi and many D governors are trying to slow this down. They know it will work, but they want to delay any recover until AFTER November so they can try and get the brain dead retard elected. This way, if BDR is elected, they can get the economy back to where it was under Obama: Record unemployment numbers, along with record numbers on the dole.
It is a bold political strategy, but it plays well with the mentally ill TDS posters.
I'm no fan of Trump, but he has earned my vote in 2020. Didn't vote for him in 2016.

Now, those people are moving the goalposts to say Trump saved a million people, or at a bare minimum, ignore how they were bashing the numbers Trump used today last week.
The far right and far left are identical. They'll both move the goalposts at any point, and it moves so that their side is never wrong.
A common theme among far right and left is that the other side wants everyone dead. You refer to it by saying Dems wanted people dead from Corona to make Trump look bad. On the other side, far lefties think R's want to reopen the economy to murder your grandma.
It's all the same, just with different ideology.

I do believe the death toll would have been 10x (or higher) worse than it is, but 1.5M would have never happened because people would have started doing their own self quarantine long before that happened

All he is doing is repeating what his so called health experts are telling him. What else is he supposed to say. For him to shut down the greatest economy in the world they had to have told him something that scared the shite out of him

On March 13th, the Centers for Disease Control projected that 160 million to 214 million people would be infected. If that had turned out to be true, 1.5 million dead is certainly plausible.
