...but why?

People think they have a better chance at winning in states where the lotto has had more winners in the past. What they fail to realize is there are more winners becuase those states have a larger population which results in more tickets being purchased which increases the odds of the winning ticket being sold in said state.

I would rather buy my ticket in MS, than in GA. MS is one of the few states that allows you to claim the wining ticket anonymously.

Didn't they go up to like $5 a ticket now? Screw that. Good luck.

Powerball is crushing it. Mega Millions jumped the shark when they went to $5 tickets. The jackpot in between drawings do not jump at the same level as the $2 Powerball.

That is the smart play. You have doubled your odds of winning. Also, it is impossible to spend enough to make a meaningful improvement in your odds beyond what you have already done.

If you're worried about odds, then you should'nt be playing. If the extra $10 to purchase multiple tickets affetcs your daily budget, you should'nt be playing.

A few years ago some nitwit behind me gave me some shite about purchchasing multiple tickets and that I was wasting my money while he proceeded to purchase a carton of camels.

IIRC the last Louisiana winner was able to remain anonymous by setting up a trust and having a lawyer claim it as a straw man on behalf of the trust.

The trust has to be in place prior to the drawing date. I beleive they just happend to already have one.

I wish they would tell us which numbers have already been used so I have a better chance at winning!

An NIL program supported by a $250 million dollar endowment.

I want 8 seats to every sport for my life and my childrens’ lives, and probably my grandchildren’s’ lives.

Apparently, MS schools ranked where they are ranked for a reason.

You sure are jumping to conclusions. No comments anywhere close to that were made.

I'm going to buy one because $2 is worth it to be able to fantasize about what I'd do with the money for 5 minutes.
