My daughter picks out my costume each year. Sorry your life is miserable.

Some people just enjoy being miserable. We have a Halloween party every year and its an absolute blast. Like I said in the other thread, life's too short to be miserable.
Halloween and Mardi Gras parties are my favorite.

What makes other people happy has a HUGE impact on my life
Also, Halloween gives women an excuse to dress slutty so I will allow it

It's not my thing, but really who gives a frick? Doesn't effect me. Doesn't hurt me. Doesn't make my day any better or worse because someone else wants to dress up.

Typically children enjoy these two. Adults enjoy ash wednesday and Ken Burns documentaries. You'll understand if/when you grow up.

I feel stupid in a costume even if everyone else is, but I do enjoy looking at all the sexy cats/nurses/bunnies that the women like to dress up as.
I also dont bitch about other people having a good time while not bothering me on the internet. You sound like a box of fun.

have no problem with adults dressing up if they want to, but the ones that get off on scaring little kids, that's a bit much.
Now chasing kids with fake chainsaw/knife that could be traumatizing is probably a bit too far. But a slow stalk is fine.
“Trick or Treat”

So it's kiddy for me to dress up for Halloween with my kid? I thought i was doing the adult thing by having some fun with my children.

Why does everyone these days want to tell everyone what they should do?
I mean I have no interest in dressing up for freaking Halloween, but good lord, why does it bother you so much that some people do?
Fair point, some people are just too involved in the lives of others.
That said, this is precisely the place for bitching and commentary about adults who make Halloween about them and their social media obsession, sometimes at the expense of their kids (I mean, these people are shitty parents all the time, tbf).

OP is a dumbass. Halloween is the all time “shooting fish in a barrel “ holiday. Women love to dress up as the sluts that they all want to be and inhibitions are out the window. One of the goat holidays to get laid. The night is just too short.

Party? No. The only reason I put on a Halloween costume is because my kids want me to also wear one while they trick or treating.

Went to an 80s theme adult Halloween party last year as the “Faith” version of George Michael, had a blast.
