They need to realize Seth can’t be that guy. His body is done and it’s not getting better. Hate it for Seth but as I said earlier in the thread - it’s time to move on. You can’t count on him to be the guy with his style and injuries.

quote:no. They cant do all that stuff in saturday main event with the limited time. They didn't just throw those people in the ring for the speech. No way they had enough time for a cash and the rock means no way
think Goldberg was supposed to win and Seth cash in. Nothing about the way that finished seemed right.

Show on NBC draws more interest than $50 show? With a Goldberg retirement match? No shite.
AEW has better wrestling and storylines at the moment. WWE is still the beast but they’re falling off after TKO and AEW just put on a good PPV.
You’ve been biased for years so there’s no convincing you otherwise but WWE trying to counter tonight led to their top star going down and Goldberg being sent off in the most awkward way possible. Is that winning?

I disagree. You stick with him. Injuries are a part of the business. Rollins is of the HBK mold. You just can't throw him out with the bathwater.

Give it a fricking break. This thread was 5 pages when SNME started...after a 5+ hour PPV. Meanwhile its at 17 pages after a 2 hour show on NBC.

Seth's knee was probably going to go at some point soon, anyway.
As for Goldberg, they had to pivot.

All In sold more tickets than all 3 WWE shows this weekend combined. WWE is only hurting NXT by trying to counter program AEW. The next NXT ppv is the same night as Forbidden Door and no one is gonna care about that either.

quote:i agree but for me personally the thing that keeps me from being a believer is the lack of larger than life main event characters. You know big muscles and people i wouldnt see in target. I know the big muscles has been a joke for many years as vince guys but i cant help it...i like super human looking guys at the top. Wwe is losing this as well with only orton and drew really... gunther needs hit the gym

quote:I suspect that wasn't going to be shown but they needed another commercial break (after losing one during Seth's match) and Goldberg/Walter stretching it out a bit too much. So they got stuck in no mans land with that last segment. What we saw was likely meant to be done after they went off the air. The commercial gave them a chance to hustle everyone out there for the whole thing.
They come back to give him a retirement speech and they still cut him off
You could see Cole w/earpiece standing to the right and Bill seemed to get it to a good ending point for TV. Go watch Flair's RAW after Mania ceremony. A third made it to air with the rest being recorded for the Vault.
The only thing with the ref bump that makes sense was the need for that interaction with Gage. He's said he'll follow his dad's footsteps. Walter is young enough that they used tonight to set up an avenger storyline for 4-5 years down the line. Otherwise its a stupid move if it's just to create a spear-jackhammer moment without a belt change.

The ending of All In ran circles around the ending of Mania. WWE’s decline started with Travis Scott coming out instead of Dwayne.

Hopefully the next ppv TK will have someone shoot Mox. Might make me want to start watching AEW.
Mox is trash.
Mox is trash.

That's crazy... Dustin Rhodes has been such a solid worker for so long and yet this is his 1st singles title in 26 damn years
