I agree, but even worse is..I'm in a long line of folks waiting for NaNa to get out the left lane and the a-holes who cut in causing everyone to slam on the brakes.

Driving in the left lane at a comfortable speed and seeing the cars behind me is satisfying because they know, and I know they know, that I am in control of their speed. Sometimes, when I get the urge, I'll just drive around in the left lane for a while even though I have no place to go.

In Jersey, they're called squatters.

Slow left lane isn't the most frustrating thing, it's when two people decide to drive side-by-side and go the speed limit.

The law about the passing lane applies no matter what your speed happens to be. Get out of the left lane if you aren't passing anyone.

May they all die a painful death.

A state trooper was brought on Tommy Tucker's show last year specifically about this. The trooper herself said if you are impeding the flow of traffic in the left lane at ANY speed, you are breaking the law.
You don't have the right to tell someone else how fast they can drive.

Then you're absolutely part of the problem. Because, it sucks to have a truck with a governor on it like that, but the bottomline is that you have no business passing people in that situation.
Its frustrating but that wouldn't work either.
Truckers drive up to 11 hours a day and pass many many trucks in that time.
If the law said trucks must stay in the right lane, no passing, then there'd never be anyone in the left lane. Because you'd never be able to get on the interstate with 8 miles of trucks governed to 61+mph nose to tail in the right lane behind the schneider truck governed to 60 mph
Best way for the interstate to work is for the trucks to fan out, with the slower truck allowing the faster truck to get by in a timely manner.

Slow down dumbass. Where you're going will still be there in 30 seconds.

Why would any truck be governed to 10 freaking mph below the speed limit?

Because some companies are run by dicks.
Some companies govern them slower than that.

I drive 85-90mph on the Interstate on trips. Left lane driver should NOT have their cruise control on.
I think every 60 miles on a trip we should be allowed to disable one shitty driver with a push of a button. Forced to pull off on the shoulder and sit 30 minutes.
Bad Driver Timeout
or just blow them up like a video game
if you cut in front of me and I don't have to hit my brake, good for you. Nice move

About 20 years ago while in NewcYork, it was on the news where a few people got in their cars and went the exact speed limit while all in a line across the interstate. It caused quite an uproar.

You know what the underlying issue really is?
They simply just don’t give a flying frick about anybody else but their own worthless asses. That’s the cold hard truth of the matter.

arse.
And you're going to sit patiently behind my arse while I overtake a slower vehicle and get back in the right lane.
If you don't like it, cut me off and break check me. I'll have the dash cam video ready when Mckernan calls to get it done.
I'm obeying the law. You're just an impatient a-hole.

The problem comes when people who feel they are going fast enough decide to not move right after passing a car but sit in the left as 15 over is “fast enough” that I don’t need to move.
I am not moving over to get stuck behind an 18wheeler just because some baw in F-250 is driving like his ex-wife just found out where he was hiding out. If i am steady passing people on the left there is no need to tailgate.
Louisiana from years of driving there has two drivers, 20 over and 10 below, every in between whats to kill the old guy in front or is actively getting checked by some trashy dude in a truck he cant afford

If the guy doing 80 isn't completing his pass reasonably quickly then the guy doing 95 has every reason to bitch. Doesn't matter what the speed limit is, if you intend to pass then complete your pass and move over. If you're doing 80 and taking your time passing someone going 78 why did you bother?
how often in Lousiana along I-10 does someone have room to 80 and isn't passing anyone?
