I came out 2nd out of 38 people in a forklift rodeo back in 00'
We had a few truck drivers that placed nationally.

Worked in receiving at whole foods. Not too many problems or complaints dealing with groceries. I did spill some lobsters once though.

you'll be alright.
I have to use one a few times a week depending on the offloads coming in.
spent most of the day on one but probably won't use one much tomorrow.
it just varies.

I can pick up a dime off the floor with my fork.

A basic Crown lift. Just for moving skids.
Sometimes on a Cat, which has the fork spreaders so you can pick up 2 skids at a time. We drive 8 hours non stop in a warehouse with 42 dock doors and it's about an 1/8 of a mile to put things away

I have driven everything from cherry picker style up to forklifts with 10ft tall tires. You get used to it after a while. If I had to do a lot of driving backwards I would pretty much sit sideways in the seat so I didn't have to strain my neck as much.

Easy peazy when you know the trick.

I know the effort of driving a forklift back and forth for hours. Here we have a forklift maintenance yard and I used to drive the forklifts to the maintenance yard when the drive is on off duty.
My advice is that forget about your knees, back, and neck while driving these tiny elephants. Sorry, nothing else to say. Once you are used to this position it will be fine.

Be sure to wear the seat belt. You wouldn't believe the difference if you flip it over that the belt makes. Life or death literally.
