I broke mine in HS. Healed fine in about 4-6 weeks with a brace around my upper chest. Could be worse.

Broke mine playing touch football about 30 years ago.
I learned about pain pills that night.
I felt like I could swim the English Channel when I left the ER.

I broke mine last summer. I was in significant pain for several weeks. I had no idea it was that painful.

Broke a clavicle 6 years ago (42). It sucked for 2 months, bro. Had to have surgery because of how it broke.

Broke both mine at the same time when I was a little kid
Short sleeve button up shirts or no shirt at all for like a month or more. Kids heal fast though, you won't.

If it was near the breastplate, it may have been broken in two, but definitely not in half. Half-in-two, in central Louisiana speak, does not literally mean half (50%).

Yep. Broke my collarbone snow skiing.
It hurt bad as the two separated bones were caught on each other and would grind against one another

I sprained my AC joint/shoulder last month skiing.
It sucked for the first week and slowly git better. At 6 weeks I say I'm at 80%
Luckily not a break

Broke mine at age 17 - flipped over the handlebars of a dirt bike, really bad break. After 8 weeks Doc told me to "take it easy'.
Saw some friends playing softball. I stopped to play. First pitch I swung at, broke it again the same place. The Old Man wasn't happy.
