I can take it until it gets under 40 degrees. Anything lower than 40 is miserable

Come on PB. Being from the South with record 60 plus days over 90 degrees, I love the cold. It only last a week or two. When you have to plug in your vehicle to keep it from freezing up... well, then move south.

Winter is a good change of pace. A little long here in Wisconsin though.

But the kids love the snow, we went sledding all weekend. Have a nice warm fire going watching It snow with the Christmas lights on is somewhat magical.

It is a mess on the roads, but it slows the pace of life which can be good.

Skiing and snowmobiling and sledding kick arse. Pond hockey also.

Now after January I will be ready for another change. February is the longest short month I know!

I hate sweating my balls off more than I hate the cold.

There is nothing worse than the heat/humidity in New Orleans from May-September.

I love and cherish cold weather and look forward to it all year. I have not turned the heater on in my house yet and dont plan to anytime soon.

Being cold feels great and is perfect drinking weather. Winter is also a great time for grilling and eating outside. I put the grill away every May til sometime in October and aside from yard work I spend the entire May-September time inside in the AC.

My favorite weather time of the year is RIGHT NOW til April.

By March I'm ready for spring.

I love the cold crisp air of winter though. The quiet that comes from a snow covered world, long shadows of the low angled sun. The evergreens covered in layers of white.

I hate it with a passion. I'll take 90 degree weather every day over cold weather.

its bad enough people in the south can't drive in the rain. Add snow/ice/sleet/freezing rain and its just horrendous.

That's the truth! Besides the few times it's snowed in BR you know people (we) gotta be on the roads checking it out.

Watching snow fall on my front porch right now. It's really pretty.
