I took some classes at White Bear Lake Community College.
It’s been so long ago that I’m pretty sure it was called that. In any case it was a community college in White Bear Lake that offered some of the same classes as the U and it was a little easier to get to for me

I've worked there some. I can't imagine living there -- ridiculously cold in Jan/Feb, and lots of bugs in the summer.

I was there last year for a wedding. Our Uber driver had to make some detours to avoid some No Kings protest crap.

You made me go look at a map. I thought the North Shore was Canada, but MN does indeed have a North Shore.

Was in Minneapolis in 2018. Very clean big city at the time. Keep in mind this was before 2020 where it went to shite.

Served what felt like an 18 month prison term there, Jan ‘15 to July ‘18. I’ve been saying for years that the place (the cities) is beyond saving. Hard to describe how most think there, as it is so hard for me to understand. Born and raised in the south, transferred for a career opportunity. When they found out I was from the south, I was out, from the jump. Go ahead and make the mistake of holding a door for a female up there…

Around 2005 I went to the Mall of America in MSP for about 10 mins..... that was all I could take... i cannot imagine what itn ooks like now 20 years later.... actually I can, which is why I will never go back.
I mean are the African born blacks at Mall of America really worse than the American born blacks at the Mall of Louisiana?

Its been a liberal shite bucket for a long time. And that made it a perfect idiot destination to convince the locals to let 10s of THOUSANDS of Somali to locate there.

Can you imagine coming from Somalia and they drop your arse in sub zero temps

No, but my ex-wife is from there. We've been divorced for 13 years.

A lot of my ex-in-laws live there. I've been there many times, but it was before the Somalis became a big problem.

I remember when they first started arriving, and my ex-BILs were not happy about it.

I lived there for over 5 years. It was great in many ways, the place was wealthy. I'm from MS so things looked nice to me and there was a lot of good food. It's very nice in the summer and if you like cold weather it's got a good winter for you.

That being said, the only people who were nice and easy to meet were not from there. The locals were all white guilt far far far leftwing and they seem to be either very depressed sort or very mad or a combo. They seemed to hate their own selves so much but at the same time they hated the moderate conservatives who make up the rest of the state and were driven by what is now woke norms way before that term came to be.

I left because it was getting crazy even before Floyd. I feel bad for a lot of the folks there who are trying to be normal but it's like the worst progressive types have taken over and have full control and know it. No one can do much without fear of the prog mob and the city will never rein them in.

I say let it burn! MN will be better off with a restart of MSP

Spent a good bit of time in Rochester. Absolutely the worst food I've ever eaten in my life. Wimmez is generally on the bigly side too.

My uncle lived there for a while, said it was too liberal and moved to France.
