I told my wife I'd rather buy one of those than buy new and save $15-20K in the process.
And sooooooooo easy to work on.

Not a square body per se but an old International Harvester pickup that belongs to my brother. Damn thing has a ton of cotton seed on it and is barely squatted. Yes it rides rough.

$22k…not bad! Just have to get rid of those wheels lol.
Really high for a GMT400 Suburban, there are better deals to be had.
I love the look of a squarebody, and had an 86 K10 for awhile but I really think the GMT400 was the best mix of modern convenience but not too computerized.
GM pickups of most eras are incredibly easy to restore though and parts are plentiful.

quote:the GMT800 will eventually be the last good GM truck and they are still pretty cheap. Pre-cylinder deactivation and shite transmission. I had a 2000 and sold it when I got a 2018. If I could go back and not do that, I would. After 18 years it still looked and ran as good as the day I bought it.

Yes. Refurbished an '85 model C-10. I have no shortage of people trying to buy it. Likely could sell it for more than what it cost new.
